I don’t write often, but this morning I have too many photos for an Instagram post. Yesterday I tried some eco dying or eco printing. I am not going to give a tutorial, because I followed the directions in Shannon Green‘s video which is at the bottom of this post. Just do what she says in a pot that is NOT for food. Here are my results. You can hover over each image to find out what plant I used. I think you can enlarge them too by right clicking and choosing “View Image.”
I alternated 140lb watercolor paper and plain old copy paper. Both took the colors well. My best were Maple, Oak, Marigold, and I love the Snowball Hydrangea. What plants give you great results?
